Jana Jaderborg, MD, FACS

With 25 years of experience as both a nurse and a surgeon, Dr. Jana Jaderborg was the first woman to practice general surgery in Central Oregon, adding a much needed choice for many patients.
Dr. Jaderborg brings a unique style in her approach to surgical care as well as a passion in the fight against breast cancer. She has a special interest in women's health issues, providing state-of-the-art breast care and varicose vein treatment. She offers the full range of general surgical procedures including excision of skin lesions, thyroidectomy, hernia repair, appendectomy, gall bladder removal, endoscopy, colonoscopy, colon, trauma and reflux surgery with care and compassion.
Dr. Jaderborg studied medicine at the University of Kansas and later went on to finish her residency at the Wichita Center for Graduate Medical Education. She is passionate about providing great health care to rural communities and works to give those communities the best care possible.
As mentioned earlier, one of Dr. Jaderborg's passions is the fight against breast cancer, therefore she continually studies the newest treatments available. She has an extensive background in treating breast cancer patients with an appropriate plan of care, and helps to educate them about their options. |
